They interpret client tastes and assist them in choosing materials and patterns. Garment Makers are familiar with the various production processes and work techniques for the transformation and finishing of products. They have to have in-depth knowledge about equipment, materials and manufacturing cycles. THE COURSE Participants: : Those who work in the sector and want to specialise; School leavers who are looking for a practical course that will allow them to be immediately operative in the world of work. Training objectives: The Garment Manufacturing Course prepares professionals able to manage clothing manufacture, by hand, by machine and using thermoadhesive materials. In particular, they have to know how to use and choose between the manual method, mainly based on hand stitching (interlining applied to the collar), that requires a lot of time but can still be considered a well made item of clothing; machine tailoring, with the application of interlining by machine; the use of thermoadesive interlining eliminates hand and machine stitching allowing quicker production of clothing items. Course length: 100 hours. Attendance: one or more lessons each week, during the day or in the evening, from Monday to Saturday (the days and times will be agreed on the basis of the students' needs).
