Our history: 1937-2007, 70 years of training
The Istituti Callegari were opened in 1937 thanks to the initiative of their founder: Sante Callegari.
Since then, the Institutes have dealt with the professional training and specialization in important business sectors.
At the end of its opening phase, during the period of the Second World War, the history of the Istituti Callegari became part of the post-war economic boom and was enriched, year after year, by important gratifications.
These are the main milestones of its history:
- 1952: Union of the Chambers of Commerce awards the Istituti Callegari the Gold Medal Diploma for Teaching and Training Methodolgy;
- 1967: International Showroom of Inventions in Brussels awards the Istituti Callegari the Silver Medal Diploma for Teaching Innovation;
- 1973: Tiberina Academy of Rome appoints Sante Callegari Professor of the Accademico Tiberino Ad Onorem; the motivation: recognition of his innate ability to make the development of the Istituti Callegari teaching methods coincide with those of the business world;
- 1976: Ministry of Industry and Employment awards the Istituti Callegari the "Golden Jumbo jet " prize for their ability to manage its facilities in relation to its exponential sectorial and territorial expansion;
- 1981:The Union of the Golden Legion-Tiberina Academy, awards the Istituti Callegari the Diploma of Merit for Teaching and teaching methodology;
- 1996: the Istituti Callegari set up courses financed by the European Social Fund;
- 2003: The European Union, the Ministry of Employment and several Italian regions rate the Istituti Callegari amongst recognised and accredited training centres.
- 2007: in January, the CEPU group, with more than 30 years experience in the training sector and with 120 branches in Italy and 5 in Europe (Athens, Belgrade, Madrid, Timisoara,Mumbai), acquires the Istituti Callegari.
