ROLE OF THE PROFESSIONAL

Times and Methods Analysts with knowledge of Marketing, Communication and Sales Techniques are professionals who manage the organisation of work within any production system and are able to replace intuition and estimations with analytical examination of times and production methods.

They have various areas of expertise including to:
  • Systematically study and analyse the various manufacturing phases;
  • Reorganise work-places, applying economy of movement rules and production cycles, co-ordinating the use of finished and semi-finished materials according to work simplification principles
  • measure, predetermine and control the execution times of the work;
  • plan relocation of equipment;
  • study the balancing of production lines;
  • collaborates in the production planning (for small or medium series production, single and repetitive lots, one-off orders and continuous production) and the management of cost accounting, registering the various items of expenditure with the aim of determining the cost of the product.
Their specialisation in the marketing, communication and sales technique areas also allows them to work in sales, analysing clients to satisfy their requirements, recognising new markets, preparing the business plan and implementing innovative sales strategies.
